So before I tell you about all the cool things that will be happening in the next few months, I wanted to give you a bit of a general update.

You may have noticed that I have been a little quiet over the last eighteen months. There have been a few changes in my day job that meant roles have not been backfilled, and I have been incredibly busy as a result. This has meant that I have had to work longer hours, and I have been suffering from burnout on a large scale.

I have been hoping that this would improve and things would calm down, but this hasn’t happened. If anything, things have gotten worse. I have, however, had a bit of an epiphany. After being turned down instantly for a promotion without consideration and moves being made to remove flexibility in my workplace, it became clear that my extra work is not appreciated.

Therefore, it stops now. From now on, I will be working my contracted hours and not a second longer, and I will no longer be pushing myself to exhaustion during those hours.

That means I will have more energy and time to spend on my books. Now onto the exciting news:

Free Reading

As money is tight for everyone, I decided to add a free reading option for my books. This will be available on my website, and you will be able to read the whole book. It will be the closed-door version of my books due to limitations on the ads and the fact that these versions will be new and not signed anywhere.

To do this, you will need to be a free member of my site and put up with the ads on my page. If you want to read without adverts (or with the spicy parts), you can still buy my books or read them on a paid service.

These books will also be released later than on paid services like Patreon and Inkitt, as I only create the closed-door versions as part of the editing process after the book is complete

I will be uploading chapters for The Alpha’s Punishment here over the next few weeks and starting updates on The Alpha’s Stubborn Rejected Mate next week.

Please note that this service is being offered at my discretion. If it is abused, then it will be removed, and if anyone distributes my works without my expressed permission, then I will take legal action against that person.

Audio Books

This is something that I will be working towards offering. The first step of that for me is getting used to being in front of a camera and talking to people.

So, from next week, I will be doing occasional streams on Twitch and YouTube as well as posting videos with my face on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. These will mostly be me talking about writing and my characters at first, but once I get my confidence up, I will record myself reading out my stories.

This rough version will be available on YouTube as a free option (with ads). But I will be making a polished version for distribution, which will also be given to Patreon subscribers as a reward for your support. I will also be trying to rope my husband into reading the male parts of my story.

Book Updates

Fighting For Her Love

This story is one chapter and two epilogues away from completion. Once the last chapter is completed, it will be removed from free services after two weeks (the epilogues will only be available for paid members or for free on my website after editing).

After that, I will be starting book two in this series. This book will follow Palmer’s story and will be free while I am writing it. More info on this one shortly!

Fighting For Her Love will be entering Preorder on Amazon and other retailers shortly, with a release date set for 11th March.

The Alpha’s Stubborn Rejected Mate

This book is one chapter away from completion and will be going straight into editing. The edited version will be longer with more spice and more character depth.

I have set up a preorder for this book on Amazon for the 14th Jan. I expect the book to be ready and available to my subscribers much earlier than that, but everything I have read tells me not to release books in December. The 14th Jan is my first non-working day in January, and I wanted to be available for my release day.

This book, although related to The Alpha’s Punishment, will not be part of the Hartford Pack series. It will be in its own series: The Graves Pack series. The series is planned out, but the next book is still undecided. I will be holding a vote on that shortly.

The Alpha’s Punishment: Redemption

This will be book two of The Hartford Pack series, and will start in a couple of weeks.

Once Upon a Rejection

I have been trying to get paper publishing rights to this story (as per my contract), but they have refused to respond to this matter.

As a result, this will be reworked and released as a new book starting early 2026 and will follow the same pattern as my other books.

The Lost Female Alpha

This will show on preorder shortly and be available on Amazon and other retailers on the 11th February. The reworked version will have more spicy scenes and have more chapters from the male lead.

YA and Closed Door Alternatives

As mentioned earlier, the versions on this site will be closed-door alternatives to my stories. This will be something I develop as part of the editing process, along with a YA version.

The closer door version will be published under the same pen name, but the YA version will be published under Cressida Wolf and will have its own Inkitt and Patreon page as well as a separate social media presence. This is to keep the younger readers away from the spicy content.
