Tomorrow is the start of Camp NaNoWriMo. For those of you that don’t know what this is, NaNoWriMo stands for national novel writing month (which is in November but Camp NaNoWriMo is the version on this in April). The November version of the challenge is always to write 50k words but the April version is a bit more flexible and you can choose your own goal.

I however have chosen to stick to the 50k words version of the challenge for April. There are a couple of bank holidays this month and I have bit of holiday that I need to use up so I think it is achievable. Even so it is not going to be easy, my daily word goal will be an average of 1667 words. This is quite a big ask for the days where I am at work so I will probably have to use my days off to catch up.

I will be posting regular updates here on how I am getting on. Probably interspersed with large amounts of complaining and questioning my own sanity for agreeing to this in the first place.

I will be publishing my story as I am working on it into wattpad. I will post a link to this once there is something there but as it is only a first draft don’t expect it to be a masterpiece!
