First Few Days

I have now completed my first few days on weight watchers and I have to say I am enjoying it so far. I am not just liking the change of the app and the move away from obsessing over calories all the time when I am tracking but I am also enjoying the way that the structure of the diet subtly pushes you to make healthier choices with your food and include more fruits and vegetables.

I have lost about 2lbs so far which is pretty good but it is important to consider that the first week or so of loss on a new diet is always faster so not to get carried away with my progress until I have been doing this for a bit longer. From what I have seen so far however I think that this is going to be a good tool for me. When I was counting calories I found it very easy to justify going over my calories and very difficult to keep up the enthusiasm for calorie counting.

Part of the reason that I think this plan is going to work for me is that it is a paid for service. This for me is the same principal as having a gym membership, although it is possible to exercise or lose weight for free it is easy then to make excuses not to do it but if I am paying for something I want to get use out of it so that I am not wasting my money.
