I am starting to feel better and more positive. This means that I can get back to doing the right things in terms of diet and fitness as well as hopefully having the energy to do my other hobbies as well.
I do however have to be careful not to push myself too hard while I am still getting back into it. I don’t want to spiral back into feeling low and unmotivated again and I think an easy way of doing that to myself is to try and do too much at once.
Today I am going to do a run which is relatively short for me on a Saturday of about 7-8km. I will then use this as a way of building up my running throughout the week. Next weekend is a 4 day weekend for me which means I will have a lot of time to go running and still relax.
I am also planning on doing better with my food next week than I have been the last few weeks. I think that there is a good chance that when I weigh myself tomorrow I will have put on a pound or two but I am not going to get stressed about that. I am just going to make sure that next week I cut down on my snacking and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.
