As I mentioned in my previous post I have had a really busy week this week. This means that by the time I reached the end of the week I was feeling really tired so when I realised that we didn’t have the things in the house that we would need to make what we had planned for our evening meal I was feeling really unmotivated.
Rather than either trying to think of something else that we could eat for the evening or going out to buy more ingredients (then having to face cooking once we do back) we decided to order a takeaway instead. I know that this food is not the best for me and could make it difficult for me to reach my goals if I keep doing this.
However, I don’t intend for this to be a regular occurrence and having the odd meal which is over indulgent will not completely ruin all the progress that I am making. I weighed myself this morning after finishing off the last of the takeaway last night and I have still lost weight from where I was about half way into this week.
The key now is that I move on from this and start again rather than worrying about it or letting it effect my diet going forward. This means that I am going to do my best to make sure that I eat better today and make sure that next week I am going to do much better.
